Matcha ice cream with toasted sesame seeds

SERVES 8-10

Ingredients

900ml double cream
1 x 395g can sweetened condensed milk
40g matcha green tea powder
2 tbsp. black sesame seeds, toasted
2 tbsp. white sesame seeds, toasted

Method

Dissolve the green tea in 4 tbsp. hot water and leave to cool completely.

Put the cream and condensed milk in a large bowl and beat with an electric hand whisk until light, airy and thick enough to leave a trail. Stir in the cooled green tea and the black sesame seeds.

Pour the mixture into a large container and transfer to the freezer for 4-6 hours, until frozen. Sprinkle with the white sesame seeds to serve.
